Ryder Cup Payout
The theme of golf over the last few months has been bad decisions. Tiger Woods is the obvious example. Just what he was thinking about when he decided to grow that goatee we'll never know. And there was all the shagging and frankly mental ad featuring his Dad €˜talking' to him. Dustin Johnson also didn't make the best of choices when he decided to do a bit of practice in a PGA Championship bunker and it's only a rumour, but that looked suspiciously like double-denim when Graeme McDowell popped in to say ‘hey dude’ to Jay Leno.

In the spirit of all things misjudged, we’ve decided to plump for a bad decision all of our own. It’s no throwing away a Major with a stupid technical infringement or violating Gok Wan’s first rule of fashion, but it is very likely to come back and take a sizeable bite out of our collective ass. We’re paying out on Europe to win the 2010 Ryder Cup before a ball has been struck or even a fundamentalist Christian golfer insulted.

That’s correct, it’s not a typo (for a chnage), we’re paying out on Europe to win the Ryder Cup days before it actually begins. It's not as if Europe are dead certainties to win it when it does begin. They've got Peter Hanson in the team for god's sake.

The payout applies to bets placed before midnight on Sunday 26thSeptember, but if you still fancy getting on Europe or €“ more likely – backing the now inevitable American victory, then check out the latest Ryder Cup Odds here.
