The intrepid duo McClean and Cox weren’t the only big talking points last night. Yes, one possessed woman took a Leap of faith and proposed to her man… in front of almost 40,000 people at the Aviva in Dublin.
Martina Connolly (38) popped the question to Derek McGill (42) at the Ireland vs Czech game, and thankfully he said ‘yes’. “I’ve surprised him before but I’ve never sprung something like this,” Martina, from Islandbridge, Dublin, said before her big moment.
The Leap year stunt was planned with Dublin radio station 98Fm and broadcast live.
