Paddy pays out £100,000 on Wales as winners of 2012 Six Nations

Paddy Power Pay Out On Wales

We reckon Wales are Six Nations Championship winners 2012 and although that’s not quite enough to put another pot in the trophy cabinet at Welsh Rugby Union headquarters, it’s enough to put some money in the pockets of Paddy Power punters.

With one round of matches to go and the perennially enigmatic French coming to Cardiff, we’ve decided it’s a done deal. We’re paying out on singles bets on Wales as Six Nations winners. In total, it means we’re paying out a whopping £100,000 to punters who backed Wales to win their first Six Nations since their Grand Slam of 2008.

The French can still deny the Dragons a Grand Slam with a win in the Welsh capital and if the win is large enough and coupled with a large England victory over Ireland, possibly even the Championship, but we’ve seen Les Bleus this season and that’s not likely to happen. We’re pretty confident this is on early pay out that won’t be biting us in le arse.

Over 1,500 punters will benefit from Paddy Power’s early payout which comes just hours ahead of the 2012 Cheltenham Festival. Paddy Power himself said: “Consider it an early St Patrick’s Day present. Heaven knows with four days of Cheltenham between now and then we could all do with a few extra quid in our pocket.”

well spotted aaron. And the pay out figure didnt even change if they have reneged on paying out as grand slam winners. Shows you that them figures they often give for there money backs are just rounded up to a nice pretty looking number.

Any reply to this Paddy Power?
