Big Buck’s is the headline act at the Festival today and the Racing Post has hailed Paddy Power’s offer of 8-11 for the World Hurdle (3.20) in a race where we will give money back if your selection finishes second to the legend.
Paddy Power’s man on the track Paul Binfield said: “We will be going 8-11 from 8.30am and will hold it as long as possible. Paul Nicholls’ class act is looking to make it 16 wins on the bounce and four World Hurdles in a row.
Elsewhere in the Racing Post, Pricewise has plumped for Thousand Stars at 12/1 to turn over Big Bucks with 33/1 shot Pineau De Re from Philip Fenton’s yard fancied for the Pertemps Final at 2.05 along with Sergent Guib’s in the same race.
Hector’s Choice (16/1) in the Byrne Group Plate at 4.00 and Jonjo O’Neill’s Sunnyhillboy (8/1) in the Kim Muir at 4.40 are also put up by the industry paper’s star tipster to help punters get back on track after a couple of serious reversals yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Post’s Ratings man Steve Mason fresh from napping Son of Flicka at a morning price of 50/1 yesterday (won 16/1) has gone for Peddlers Cross (1.30) Buena Vista 2.05 (nap) 2.40 Riverside Theatre 3.20 Big Buck’s 4.00 Niceonefrankie and 4.40 Summery Justice.
Paddy Power’s cheat sheets are proving popular and with Barry Geraghty tipping all three of his winners on Wednesday weeks in advance, the Festival’s leading jockey has gone for Champion Court (1.30) Jimmy Nesbitt’s Riverside Theatre (2.40) and Oscar Whiskey to beat Big Buck’s in the 3.20.
