It’s Manchester City against Arsenal this weekend as two of the most high-profile managers in the top flight square off. Can Roberto Mancini pick up his team for the trip to London. Arsenal have not lost at home since being beaten 2-1 by Manchester United on January 22. Theo Walcott, for one, believes the Emirates Stadium can again prove “a fortress” on Sunday.
If Manchester City call pull off a result this weekend the Manchester derby on April 30 takes an added edge again. And our Padcast special guest this week cannot wait.
“Mark my words,” says Nicky Summerbee. “Man City will win the Premier League. Manchester United will drop points.” And yes, we’re pretty sure he meant this season. Summerbee talks to our Padcast host Ciaran O Raghallaigh about all things Man City and gives his expert take on how he thinks it’s going to go.
Meanwhile, our Padcasters talk about some of the most bizarre sports stories of the last few days, including the YouTube gold clip below during which a ball-boy in Brazil helps his team out by clearing a shot off the line.
