The Heat is on: Money-Back on the NBA Finals

by Josh Powell | June 12, 2012

Paddy Power has taken some time out from shooting hoops in the Power Tower car park to roll out a tasty Money-Back Special on the biggest match in the NBA.

The Miami Heat are at the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight in the first of a possible seven series final and punters will be hoping for plenty of points across the games.

That’s because if there are over 205 points scored in a match, Paddy Power will refund all losing match bets on that game.

It’s a thrilling end to the finals which have been more unpredictable than some of Paddy’s three-pointers.

The Thunder are favourites for the crown after beating the well-fancied San Antonio Spurs to reach the final. They’re at home tonight and Oklahoma fans will be confident their team can lift the trophy for the first time in their history.

The Heat beat arch-rivals Boston Celtics in the deciding game of the Eastern Conference Finals thanks to a big performance from their main man LeBron James.

He’s the League’s three-time Most Valuable Player where as Thunder’s Kevin Durant is the current scoring champion, averaging 28 points per game this season.

The championship this year could easily come down to which of these players holds their nerve on the biggest stage of them all.
