Dereck Chisora has lost three of his last four fights and is the underdog ahead of Saturday’s grudge match with David Haye. So what better way to try and give him a helping hand ahead of the eagerly anticipated bout than by sending him some Paddy Power lucky pants!
The tense atmosphere at today’s weigh-in was temporarily lightened when the 242lb muscleman proudly displayed his green Paddy Power lucky underpants while on the scales.
‘Delboy’ will be hoping the lucky pants work their magic in the ring at Upton Park when he attempts to knock-out the ‘Haymaker’.
Before today Paddy’s lucky underpants were last seen at Euro 2012 when Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner choose to display them as part of his goal celebration against Portugal.
A spokesperson for Paddy Power said “The lucky pants were a knock-out success for Nicklas in the Euro’s so we’re hopeful they’ll do the same for Dereck on Saturday.”

These Power Shorts did work for Bentner but I am affraid they will not work for Chisora…my bet is that Haye KO him before round 6
Haye certainly looks in better shape Mr Olsen! I think Chisora is going to need a lot more than the lucky pants to stop the ‘Hayemaker’ on Saturday night!
If you’re having a cheeky punt on the round betting or the group round betting don’t miss Paddy’s Money-Back Special. He’s refunding losing round bets if the fight finishes within three rounds:

Why do you say that? Haye ran away from Valuev, ran away from Klitschko for 11 rounds and beat an over the hill John Ruiz and a joker in Audley Harrison. Expect a brawl and expect Chisora to come out on top probably with a 9th round stoppage. Haye is a mouth whereas Chisora is a tough man and a real fighter.
please paddy can i have some lucky underpants. I need those bad boys
