Mick McCarthy has ruled himself of taking over at Nottingham Forest despite being long odds-on to do so at one stage in Paddy Power’s online betting. Pierrick Fedrigo claimed France’s fourth win of the Tour de France on stage 15 to Pau on Monday. Bradley Wiggins retained the Tour leader’s yellow jersey and a lead of 2mins 5secs over team-mate Chris Froome in second.
