Manchester United have stepped up their interest in signing the Brazilian Lucas Moura and judging by these clips we can see why!
The 19-year-old winger has been bamboozling defenders for years on the wing for Sao Paulo and has certainly caught the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson. Looking at these clips we can see he’s got all the skills of Nani but with a decent final ball, and the pace of Antonio Valencia without believing his left leg is there just for decoration.
The superstar looks incredibly strong as well as he shrugs off tackles and displays a heart-warming willingness to stay on his feet. A couple of training sessions with Ashley Young might well solve that we fear.
It appears that United will have to improve their bid if they are to get their man but Ferguson seems keen on the boy who has been touted as a ‘modern-day Jairzinho’. United fans will be excited by the possible move with Moura seemingly able to create those moments of magic that the team has lacked since the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo three years ago.
Moura will be playing at Old Trafford on Sunday as he is part of the Brazil team that is taking on Belarus in the Olympic games. If Sir Alex has his way it won’t be the last time the Brazilian wonder-kid graces the turf at the Theatre of Dreams.
