VIDEO: The top ten Champions League strikes ever!

HANG TIME: Lionel Messi sprouts wings in the 2009 Final against Man Utd

The only thing better than seeing super-hot Irish model Rosanna Davison posing for Playboy this week is knowing that the Champions League is back on our screens. 32 of the best teams in Europe (and ‘ahem’ FC Nordsjaelland) will do battle as Tuesday and Wednesday nights suddenly have meaning again. Chelsea are the champs but have a job on their hands trying to retain their crown in a competition that’s full to the brim of talent.

To celebrate the return of the greatest club competition in the world The Paddy Power Blog has compiled what we think are the top ten goals in the tournament’s history. Feel free to disagree and suggest ones we may have missed and take some time out to enjoy a few of the finest strikes from Europe’s elite.

Paddy Power has a whopping Money-Back Special lined up for the first week of the Champions League. If any of the opening matches featuring British teams ends in a draw, Paddy will refund losing first goalscorer, last goalscorer, scorecast and correct score bets on that match!
