Giants @ San Francisco 49ers, SS4, Sunday 9.25pm
There are some great games coming up this weekend the highlight of which is reigning Super Bowl champions the New York Giants at San Francisco 49ers.
This is a replay of last year’s NFC Championship game that the Giants won and went on to win the Super Bowl. The 49ers are 20/21 at -6.5 in the handicap as the pair clash for the third time in less than a year.
NYG QB Eli Manning had two 300-yard passing games against ‘Frisco last season and together with head coach Tom Coughlin knows how to win on the road.
If there is a touchdown scored in the final 2 minutes of the game, we will refund losing match handicap bets on the game. (T&C’s apply)
Lions @ Philadelphia Eagles, SS4, Sunday 6pm
Detroit were on a ‘bye’ week last weekend and will have had two weeks to prepare for this game. A lot of their focus will have been on targeting the inconsistent Eagles QB.
If Vick doesn’t bring his ‘A’ game Detroit will fancy their chances of getting an away win.
Green Bay Packers @Houston Texans, CH4, Monday 01.30am
Houston are now Paddy Power’s new Super Bowl XLVII favourites at 4/1 after a 5-0 start and are playing like the Packers did last season. Many expected Green Bay to be 5-0 this season but they’re 2-3 and this is a ‘must-win’ game for them.
Aaron Rodgers by his own admission has not been firing on all cylinders this year and Green Bay are not putting up the big scores that they were last season.
They’ll have to find a way to get their Offense ticking over on the road against Houston or else they’ll be looking at the possibility of a season without play-off football. The Texans are 18-5 against the spread (ATS) in their last 23 games.
