GIF: Neymar scores amazing solo goal on 200th appearance

On his 200th appearance for his club Santos last night, Brazilian international Neymar scored a stunning solo goal to mark the occasion in a 2-2 draw with Atletico Mineiro. Fittingly the man whose crown he is looking to take, Ronaldhino, was on the field when it happened, playing for Atletico Mineiro.

The 20-year old striker is one of the most sought after talents in the world and deep-pocketed European admirers will be lining up to make astronomical bids during the upcoming transfer windows. It’s easy to see why from our animated GIF.

He claims he wants to stay in Brazil until the 2014 World Cup is played there but if he keeps scoring goals like this someone will make Santos and offer they won’t be able to refuse.

Neymar has scored more than a goal a game over his 200 games for Santos and has notched 16 goals in 25 games for Brazil. Two of which he scored against Japan, in Poland, on Tuesday night. I have been reliably informed that Brazil is quite the distance from Poland.

If the gif is to be believed, he is extremely fast and runs like a player from the old FIFA games.

I believe in the ultimate shit-stirring abilities of Tyson Fury and the 2 year old director of his video’s, who creates the most ‘artsy’ confrontational sports films the world has ever seen. Visionaries.

I find his over pronunciation of the letter ‘t’ oddly unsettling.

Not having a particularly macho voice doesn’t help with the whole being threatening thing he’s going for. Nor does the audible presence of a baby in the background.

A little too much Fury and not enough Tyson methinks. Or maybe that should be the other way around.

Haha yeah, his pronunciation of ‘t’ is a bit strange. Particularly if you grew up on the mean streets of North Dublin where the letter ‘t’ is silent if preceded by a vowel. He’d never fit in in “The Ghe’o”. Or in France.
