Paddy Power is a Guinness World Record holder. We achieved this remarkable feat, and the lovely certificate from Guinness below, for our 2012 Ryder Cup Sky Tweeting campaign.
The specific Sky Tweet which broke the record listed all of the 12 European players’ names – with ‘Seve’ as the 13th man. It was delivered to tie in with the start of Europe’s dramatic comeback. The full text took up approximately 70million sq ft of sky, designed to break the current record by at least 10million sq ft, and could be seen for 20 miles. More info on that, here.
The certificate states Paddy Power holds the Guinness World Record for…
The largest sky drawing by an aircraft display team measures 7,673,845m2 (82,667,200ft2) and was achieved by the Paddy Power Skytypers display team above the Medinah Country Club, in Medinah, Illinois, USA, on 30 September 2012.

Well done….. Sorry, I meant, why did you bother, the only coverage is on your own blog???
Very honest of you, Honest Joe
