Emile Heskey has been on fire since joining the Newcastle Jets since joining the Australian Sunday pub league that they like to dress up and call the cool sounding A-League. The much maligned Leicester native and alleged striker has been in brilliant form lately, notching up four goals in his first four games for his new club.
The latest was a crucial one – an overhead kick that turned out to be the match winner. Roy of the Rovers eat your animated heart out.

Yes, a more accurate description would include mention of it being three yards out and only an ‘overhead kick’ in the most literal sense that he kicked the ball when it was over his head. But still – overhead kick – stick that into your tweet and smoke it, haters.

I still don’t believe it
.
Me neither. But to Emile’s credit, if Wayne whatzisname of Man Utd had done this, it would have got rave reviews all over Twitter, etc.
. . . I’m guessing it’s the “inspiration” factor of playing in a “Barcelona” shirt.
Is it true that Liverpool sent over a scout to watch him???
Could he be on his way back to yawnfield??…… heehaw
