Ruby Walsh exclusive: I’ve a double chance at Exeter

Ruby Walsh

Top jock and Paddy Power columnist Ruby Walsh with the lowdown of his and Willie Mullins’ runners at Exeter and Downpatrick today ahead as the countdown to the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham continues.

Exeter

Provo (1.40) won very  well at Wincanton over 2m 6f and Paul’s horses are in good form so we’re hoping for a very big run.

Keppols Hill (2.40) made a hash of the last at Ffos Las but jumped well that day. He’s an improving horse and we won’t hit the front too soon and I think he has a big shout.

Downpatrick

Sarabad’s (12.35) French form has not translated to Ireland even though his rating means he should be good enough to win this – I’m not so sure.

Inish Island (1.05) has been knocking on the door recently. He jumps well is going well at home and should be there or thereabouts in this contest.

Bally Longford (3.35) is a nice horse and was second in a point-to-point . I know Patrick likes him and he shouldn’t bee too far away.
