Nicky Henderson’s Sprinter Sacre began this season where he left off last season when hosing up in the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown on Saturday under Barry Geraghty.
Sprinter Sacre is now close to being rated the same as Moscow Flyer on 179 as he continues to rise through jumps racing’s top rank which would leave him just 7lbs behind Master Minded on 186 in his pomp.
I would be afraid to hope for a day like today but Sprinter really is something special maybe the best I’ve ridden time will tell #happydays

Geraghty even managed to have some banter with Moscow Flyer’s trainer Jessica Harrington on which he won an Arkle Trophy, two Tingle Creeks and two Queen Mother Champion chases.
@barryjgeraghty he is very good but do not forget the old boy

While Paul Nicholls who is likely to be in a dog-fight for the British trainer’s title with Henderson was also impressed by what he saw.
Credit where credit due Sprinter Sacre was Awesome today. Well done team Seven Barrows.

Not to be outdone Paddy Power punters who took the enhanced 5/2 on the superstar-in-waiting winning by more than six lengths – it was 15 lengths back to Kumbeshwar in the end – were quids in too.

#SprinterSacre wins by over 6 lengths and all the punters who got on the special at 5/2 are very happy now!
