Today’s competition is over. Kenneth Ball correctly “guessed” the answer ‘a little knowledge is a dangerous thing’.
A glitch with the image may have allowed some to see the final image prematurely. Without proof or the desire to find proof I’ll simply be correcting the issue for tomorrow’s competition and congratulating Kenneth for finding the grift.
The problem with such a long running and popular quiz like our world famous Catchphrase competition is that every year we’re compelled to come up with a brand new set of images to depict phrases we haven’t used before. Which is getting increasingly tougher as the years tumble by.
Only a late flurry of caffeine fueled, unhinged creativity has saved the day this year. However it does mean that this year’s catchphrase games may be the most surreal yet. I’ve steeled myself for a torrent of abuse to be thrown my way when I finally release the answer.
