LIFEHACK: How to bag yourself up to a 100% BONUS on winning football accumulators

Paddy Power rolls out the big guns for February. Here's what you need to know about our new football offer...

by Aidan Elder | February 13, 2014

What could make a good thing even better?

‘The state of Florida suddenly deciding teenage Canadian singers caught drink-driving are to be sent to a Abu Ghraib prison?’ is what we’re assuming you replied there. And, while we fully support that idea, it’s a little out of our control.

Instead, Paddy Power has turned our attention to football accas – or accumulators as the slightly posher among us might say. There’s few better feelings in the world than seeing an ambitious, well-planned out football acca come good at juicy odds. An ‘ambitious, random and not at all well planned out acca coming good’ may just about trump that feeling, but either is pretty good.

Here at Paddy Power, we want to reward your ambition, judgement and/or luck.

For the month of February:

We’ll be applying a bonus of up to 100% on your winnings if you place an accumulator with three or more selections on top European competitions.

We’ll assume your jaw just hit the ground and give you a moment to pick it up off the ground. Don’t worry, someone else will mop up that saliva.

You read it right – a BONUS OF UP TO 100% on successful football accas of three legs or more.

Calculators at the ready, because it works out like this:

Bet Type – Bonus

  • Trebles = 5% Bonus
  • 4-folds = 10% Bonus
  • 5-folds = 15% Bonus
  • 6-folds = 20% Bonus
  • 7-folds = 30% Bonus
  • 8-folds = 40% Bonus
  • 9-folds = 50% Bonus
  • 10-folds = 60% Bonus
  • 11-folds = 70% Bonus
  • 12-folds = 80% Bonus
  • 13-folds = 90% Bonus
  • 14-folds and over = 100% Bonus

Yes, we know successful 14 folds are rarer than Arsene Wenger saying: “I saw the incident clearly and the referee punished my team in the appropriate manner.”

But look at all the tasty bonuses all the way up – 5% for correctly picking three results – even Jamie Redknapp could manage that.

There’s a small bit of housework that we need to clear up just to clarify how the bonus applies, but if you hate reading Terms and Conditions, go about living your life – there should be an assuming picture of Lionel Messi with a machine gun arm to illustrate the ‘making a good thing even better’ theme somewhere near. If you love terms and conditions, then congratulations on your career in accountancy and read on.

Alternatively, you can go to the coupon which houses the matches in all the relevant leagues.

Fairly standard terms and conditions

• Applies to straight pre-match WDW accums on the full time result only.
• Applicable bonus is credited on winnings only – stake is not included.

If I have already placed a £20 free bet on an accumulator and it is yet to run, do I still receive the bonus on my winnings even though it was placed before this bonus announcement was made?

I backed a horse using my free bet on your site on a Friday night for Saturdays racing and the horse I backed was declared a non runner on the Saturday. I was disappointed to then find out my free bet was deemed to have been used

Just had a 20 team accum come in. Unheard of. I had 7 of those games in the top leagues(acca bonus deal) and the rest in various other leagues. Do I receive the bonus on my 7 teams or do they not count as my other teams were not part of the acca bonus
