Access to every market from every event.

On the long list of racing results it would be better if you indicated whether horses were favs, the winner of the 4.15 down royal was 1/1 but it does not say that this was 1/1 fav.

A few updates
Homeboy: The results for Unnamed Fav and 2nd Unnamed Fav is displayed in the single result pages..
Detail: we hope to have 1/1 displaying as Evens in our multi-lingual release coming in a few weeks..

Thanks for the feedback, that info is in there, if you click into an individual race (by clicking anywhere in the title bar for that race) you will see all the details from that race, including Fore/Tricast info and Rule 4 and Non runner data.

I really like them actually,its just a matter of getting used to something new and then its fine, I like having everything at a glance so thats a positive….HOWEVER ONE GLARING MISTAKE!
You no longer show if a favourite or 2nd favourite won,THAT I dont like. Sort that out and its perfect.

Agree with all those who say MUST have 1st and 2nd fav’s.
Also, when I do a browser back, keeps sport but not course. Wd prefer to keep course as well, since if same saves time, if not, no worse off than now!
As I almost always bet on horses, wd prefer some kind of profile (that’s what cookies are for, after all) so I can have Horse Racing (or whatever) as my default sport unless I choose differently.

PS Just read the Team’s comment that 1st and 2nd favs show in single results page. I must be very dim, but I can’t always see them! EG 1st 3 races Cheltenham Sat 17th, fav shows below Each-way Terms in two of three (not 1.25), 2nd fav in none.

I have been onto other results pages and they take forever to put results up. You are first class at getting results up in a minute or two of the actual race etc’
So very well done for that.

It is very worrying to find you have incorrect results on the site, eg the 3.20 on thu 22 nov. The winner was rifleman not as your site states. I now feel I should go to my bin and check so many results.

Hi Paul,
Good spot, actually the bug you have found is in the display of the full results for that day. We are looking into that now and will try to fix it immediately. If you click through to the Full event results however you will see that we do indeed have rifleman as the winner.
Our apologies for the confusion on this one and thanks for letting us know, please be assured that its a display bug rather than the results data itself.
While I am here a quick update on our progress on this, we have been monitoring your comments closely and we are working on small and big update to the system to get a full release out soon when we will have ironed out Beta version gremlins.
Some of the things we are currently looking at are
Jonnykk, kpd, Kathy, John v, jj, James - There has been a lot of debate on the 1st and 2nd Fav placing so we are looking at improvements to the display of that information for you.
Kathy, William - We are working on back button functionality to make repeat searching a lot smoother
Sniper, we will look at the Virtual and actual greyhound display.

I don’t like the new format as I cannot find the results of today’s English Horse Racing. I have no problem in finding German, South African etc. It is too cluttered. Please put it back to the Old format for the Horses. I have no interest in any other results you show.

So what about the non-runners? I often select bets from a newspaper, visit one of YOUR offices, do the bet, then come home and check the result on-line. Its very clever, not to list the non-runners on your site. Think of all those dockets that have been binned!!, and not checked!! Obviously, my comments dont apply for bets that are made on-line, as all non-run bets would be credited. However, those punters like me, who use Paddy Power on-line, or in the Main Street would appreciate the full result service.

The new results service is okay but lacks one important thing. It does not tell you who the non-runners are. I also check my betting slips online and could be throwing tickets away that have money off them.

OK guys, bit of a pointer here, (maybe the link isn’t clear enough and well look at doing something about that), but….when you get a list of Horse racing results back you can click anywhere in the Green title bar for the race to take you through to the full results for that race. in this section there you can see all the non runners listed.
Try clicking on this link to see what I mean.

Also on that page you can see information about Unnamed Fav and Unnamed second favorite, currently if the 1st or 2nd Fav is placed then we will display where it came. If they are unplaced then these will be blank. We are looking at how this works to improve it but hopefully this will help for now.

I find it a long winded process .Preferred the launch desktop results for the horses.Profiling my results sounds a good solution .Have to admit though ,that i haven’t found the other sites any better than this and the chance to have your say as well. !

I agree the previous format was much better - very difficult to get results and takes ages to download if that ever happens! I’ve given up on this site and don’t bother now.

Hi All,
A bit of an update for you, just before Christmas we added in Unplaced by the unnamed Fav and unnamed second Fav just to make that section a little clearer.
We also made it multilingual.
We are now looking at doing a bigger update later in the year to take into account your other comments plus some improvements of our own. So keep your comments coming in.
Joe, we do list non runners with the results if you click through and go to the detailed view for the race.

when listing results it would it be very helpful if you listed the FULL finishing order of all the runners in the race and not just the placed horses.

I use Paddy power as I honestly think you offer the best deal all round-and a bit of fun as well. However the guy responsible for the non-runners fiasco again ought to be pointed towards a new career. It is unfortunate that the only one to gain by this ommission is P.P. as the dockets wind up in the bin .The site without the full details is a bit “fur coat -no knickers”. Regards, Ray.

links missing from one meetings results straight to the next so you have to go back to the front end of the service each time, and what’s more since it started someone now keeps marking up bets wrong in account history, ie today La vecchia scuola down as lose and two marked the same last night even though they’d all won!

We have added in quick link navigation to the Horse Racing pages. This should make it even easier to find the results you desire. To view an example on today’s Horse Racing results click here.
Fav and 2nd Fav notations
Where a selection is a favourite; the results will now indicate this on the listing on each level of the results page. We’ll also display whether or not a selection is a joint favourite. Click here to view an example with a favourite as a winner.
New Single event layout
We have simplified the layout of single event results page.
Non Runners Links
We now have a link to the list of Non Runners for each race.
Please keep the suggestions coming, as they won’t be ignored.

I just wondering in the placepot or places in today’s race at NAAS, the first race 2:35 time has 24 horses and you gave only 3 places while at race number five at 4:35 time has 22 horses and you gave 4 places. Which should have been reverse the giving of placings? meaning, Race 1 should be 4 places, then on Race 5 should be 3 places? Could you please comment on this? Is the 4th horse “Grab a Grand” be in the places of your Placepot betting? I would appreciate it for your response or consideration? Cheers and thanks in advance.

The 2.35 was a maiden hurdle, not a handicap so they only pay three places. The 4.35 was a handicap so an extra place is paid. These are rules set in stone by the Tote, not any bookmaker. so it’s the conditions of the race and not the amount of runners that are important to note

First time punt on the grand national I put bet ten pounds on 8 horses one of them came in it was Slim pickings 10-1. I put 50p on each way and I was quoted 7.25 as the return why did I only get 1.75? Am I just being a stupid first timer

you should really be able to get the odds of the premier matches after the match has finished on this site just so i can gloat to all off my friends about what better odds i got my lucky bets at compared to theirs at other betting shops . also it should show what you could of won scenarios just to make you think , maybe i will have a flutter on that one next time eh . just a thought

Why is it, that whoever does the virtual horse results, puts down a horse as joint favourite and puts the 3rd in the betting as second favourite. Does he or she realise that a joint favourite is both Favourite and second favourite

The rule 4 deductions you made on the 9.05 at Beverley on 27.5.08 were just bull!

Just one suggestion, would be nice if you could have some sort of REST like URL system so that if you hit refresh you wouldn’t have to drill down back to what you wanted. Apart from that, great tool

I’m presuming the confusion arises over the players tied for seventh place as everyone from Harrington to Chris Wood will be paid out at the full each way odds and terms. If you had an e/w bet on one of the players tied for 7th you will get a 9th of your place stake at the full each way odds and terms. It’s pretty unfortunate that so many players tied for 7th but with most other bookies you wouldn’t be getting any returns at all. I hope this clears things up for you.

I think the service is excellent.
The only problem is the amount of time it takes to produce certain results and therefore settle bets. I have known it to take 3 or 4 hours to settle bets, when official results from available from official website etc.

I think this result service is possibly the best out of the online bookmakers, I mainly bet on the Virtual racing and know I can find all the results quickly here, including the SIS+ races which lots of others dont cover.

when looking up the results on the virtual racing the page seems to get stuck on the previous days. So when looking on todays results which is the 18/9 the results for the 12/9 are comming up and when you try to go foward to the 13/9 you can not untill you go back a day first.

i find the results service excellent, except of course, the names of the winners quite often are not what i want to see.

New customer and think the wholse site is good. Only thing to change to make it better would be when searching football results, to have the odds shown next to them.
