As of today we are paying out early on Boris Johnson as the winner of the London Mayor Election.
Although London’s official results declaration seems to take almost as long as a Zimbabwean election, Labour’s kick in the ballots overnight suggests Boris will be on his way to City Hall. So we figure why wait any longer - it’s bank holiday weekend and you’ll want to get your hands on your winnings to enjoy it.
So London prepare yourselves - if we’re right then this is what you’ve got coming. Boris running London may not be pretty but it sure as hell will be funny.

Have you been drinking The Strood, he is an idiot!
May 2nd, 2008 at 11:15 pm
as I said look beyond the media image.
May 3rd, 2008 at 7:14 pm
Are you saying that he only plays an idiot for the sake of the media, he must be a genius then
May 3rd, 2008 at 11:16 pm
I am saying that is down to the media
Eamo, do you live in London?
Are you aware of his policies? Can you list any of his policies?
May 4th, 2008 at 12:37 pm
What are these policies strood? The man is a bumbling fool and it is akin to the way that California voted in that steriod filled brainless idiot Arnold! I’m not in London so i have no objections to him but if the media have found it so easy to portray him as a clown then it cannot be without substance!

by “media” are you referring to the sun spud?

I don’t live in London, but I’m from Belfast and lived under a Tory goverment for a while, and had to listen to his drivel. I have included a few quotes for you to have a look at
The proposed ban on incitement to “religious hatred” make no sense unless it involves a ban on the Koran itself
Labour’s appalling agenda, encouraging the teaching of homosexuality in schools, and all the rest of it.
Not only did I want Bush to win, but we threw the entire weight of The Spectator behind him.
I think I was once given cocaine but I sneezed so it didn’t go up my nose. In fact, it may have been icing sugar
people in Liverpool “cannot accept that they might have made any contribution to their misfortunes, but seek rather to blame someone else for it, thereby deepening their sense of shared tribal grievance about the rest of society”. Hillsborough
How is he meant to represent the working class in London, he is homophobic and makes light of the teachings of the Koran, plus he thinks Bush is doing a good job. His quotes on the Hillsborough tradegy are shocking, Draw your own conclusions
May 4th, 2008 at 11:02 pm
Eamo i forgot all about Hillsborough and his views on the people of Liverpool - now that you have reminded me the man is an absolute disgrace and i hope he is strung up - hung drawn and quartered old London style! The fools that elected him deserve all they get and i hope in his typical style he gives it to them! British democracy at it’s finest!!!!
