Just what Tiger Woods’ could bring to the US effort is debatable – it’s certainly not lots of points - but the world number one has ruled out a visit to Valhalla in favour of watching Deal or No Deal and occasionally flicking over to see how much his compatriots are getting whupped by. His wife is also expecting the couple’s second cub, so he’s got the perfect cover for not bothering to show up.

He’ll appear somewhere on our website at 12pm on each day of the Ryder Cup. Find him (pictured above) and the first person on our blog to correctly tell us Tiger’s whereabouts wins a £100/€120 free bet. It will start on Friday and we’ll do it again on Saturday and Sunday.

Not much. The judges decision is final and in the interests of fairness winning on one day rules you out of the other days.
