It looks like Cousin Vinny might be the only Irish banker doing anyone a favour this year.
This morning we took the idiotic incredible decision to REFUND ALL LOSING BETS on the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle if Cousin Vinny wins the race. He’s 5/2 now, he’ll almost certainly be shorter on the day, and by my reckoning this makes our offer the most generous Money-Back Special in racing history.
So just to be clear - any horse, no matter where he finishes (or even if he doesn’t) - if Cousin Vinny wins you are all getting your Money Back. And unlike some other bookmakers I could mention, when we say Money Back that’s what we mean.
So is this a stroke of genius or a stroke of madness? I can’t decide. But one thing is for sure, there’s going to be even more interest than usual in the Supreme Novices’ this year here in Paddy Power HQ.

All get on Copper Bleu P J Hobbs came out last week saying thats hes best chance of winning a race @ cheltenham i took the 33/1 and now hes 16’s and i say he’ll be a lot shorter on the day!! GET ON!!

Good strategy. Obviously you are opposing him (pw + vinny). I suppose you are hoping lads pile into Vinny and have a “free bet” on something else. Vinny gets nailed and your quids in! Also a great way to generate a turnover in the race with 5 days to go!

cousin vinny will definitely go in the supreme - there’s little doubt about that - 99.5% certain for this race.
willie will need to have sorted his jumping out for this though.

sorry lads for the last 2 years i made 2,500 each year on naming how many irish winners.This year we are in deep shit i think we will have between 3 and 5 winners ,i actually fancy 4 winners we just dont have the backup if our fancied ones go down.we will win the cross country and the bumper ,if cousin vinny goes down where do we go from there.

i’m on red moloney to win at 25/1 - but think with this rain coming and claisse playing with his sprinklers last week that i might as well tear up my slip. ground likely to be soft now - and the way he travels and quickens, i think he needs it good to be seen at his best.
on good ground, or ground slightly on the soft side of good - he’d have been one of the bets of the festival.
hopefully he’ll take his chance, but could be one to wait for aintree with.
