Ok, I use the word tips lightly. This year we’ve decided to lose the racing lingo and compare the horses to our favourite soap stars. This way you’ll really know who’s got a chance in the race.

Did you know if “Snowy Morning” was a Soap Star he’d be Kelly Windsor (The good looking young one from Emmerdale)

Hardly a trophy wife and lacks real class to be held in the same regard as Kim Tait, but on her day can be a real knockout. She’s played the field and knows the game.

Or that if “Preists Leap” was a character on a soap he’d be Pat Butcher (The not so good looking aul one from Eastenders)

You wouldn’t want to get on her bad side as she’s likely to kill you with an oversized earring. That said, she’s had it tough - married four times - so she deserves some respect. Just a little though.
