The problem with elections is that putting a number – any number – next to a politician’s name implies you actually like them. It only encourages them and they end up getting big ideas and in some extreme cases believing they are actually popular.
We’re here to change all that. Now, at last, is the vote that really counts. The vote to determine which of our wonderful politicians is the worst of a pretty bad bunch. I’ve been looking over the ballot papers and I don’t mind telling you that there’s plenty of choice in every constituency. And that’s just Fianna Fail.
Take your time, research the candidates (there’s some real oddballs amongst the independents) and cast your vote. Polls will close on Monday June 1st, and we’ll announce the results on Tuesday. At last – real democracy comes to Ireland!

cant believe the state liverpool are at the moment financially. a great club like that in so much debt. if they went under it would be the end of football as we know it. football clubs and the players especially need to wise up now before its to late. cut the wages to about £2000 a week across the whole league, which is more than enough for these gready people. it might also allow people like me to take my family to watch games at a realistic price.

Apologies, I have been lapse in my idiot boy post deleting duties…to clear up any confusion, if the comment hasn’t been deleted then that person isn’t idiot boy and despite the constant accusations, there’s actually far less multiple posting under different aliases than you might think. Tone, structure, spelling and various other indicators make it pretty obvious when someone is commenting under more than one name.
