As one of the golfers labelled with the dreaded and annoyingly over-used ‘one of the best players never to win a Major’ tag, Paul Casey would have been hoping to return to form at the WGC Bridgestone in preparation for the final Major of the year, the USPGA Championship next week. Unfortunately the Englishman pulled out after six holes at Firestone, but Paddy Power punters who backed him to win in America won’t be disappointed. We’ve decided to refund all bets on Casey to win the event. Whilst other bookies would’ve taken your money and laughed all the way to Gibraltar, we’ve given you your money back!!

Well done! This is great compliment of Paddy Power to refund on Paul Casey eventhough I did not backed him. I have heard from internet before hand that he is having some stiff muscle issue. How true it came at the Firestone.
But really excellent service from Paddy Power to refund hard earned money from punters alike.
So, guys, who do you think will WIN this Firestone event? Looks so tough after the 1st round. Anyone within 6 strokes can do it.

Its a pity you werent as generous last year when I backed David Duval in a tournament.
He was listed as withdrawn not having completed 18 holes but you didnt refund my money.
Could it have been because there was no free publicity for you in refunding my few euros?

Just looking at the betting for the PGA, paying 6 places outright and only 5 (at lesser prices) without Woods. Surely you’ve got to pay 6 places without Woods too? Otherwise why bother backing in that market. Just a thought
