Barcelona manager Luis Enrique sent shockwaves through the world of football tonight when the club announced his intention to step down at the season’s end.

Enrique has been in charge of the Catalans since May 2014 and has won La Liga back to back in his first couple of seasons with the club. He also led the club to Champions League success in his opening campaign and picked up two Copa del Reys as well as the FIFA World Club title to boot.

However, the wheels seem to have come off the wagon for the former Roma boss this year as Barcelona find themselves virtually out of the Champions League thanks to a 4-0 first leg thumping at the Round of 16 phase by PSG at Parc des Princes.

That defeat may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back for the Barca board because they actually top La Liga by two points at the moment, although second placed Real Madrid do have a couple of games in hand.

With Enrique signalling his intent to exit in the summer, Sevilla manager Jorge Sampaoli is just favourite to replace him at 3/1. However, he’s followed very closely by a host of familiar names from the Premier League.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is next in the market to take over at the Nou Camp at 4/1, while current Arsenal gaffer Arsene Wenger comes right in behind at 5/1.

A little further out are Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino can be found at 8/1, while Jurgen Klopp is a 20/1 shout. Finally, those fancying a bit of outside value can pick off Pep Guardiola to return to the Nou Camp at 33/1.
