It's Gold Cup day and we're very excited
This is the place for all the updates and snarky comments you need for the last day of the Festival
The last day of the Festival. *HEAVY SIGH*
It’s feels like only 259,200 short seconds ago that I sat down at my laptop to start updating you with all the snarky and unnecessarily mean comments. Oh well. At least we’ve got AN AMAZING FINAL DAY to savour with a multitude of opportunities use CAPS LOCK to communicate all the excitement.
And that excitement is genuine, not just because I’m being paid to hype things up. A fascinating Gold Cup is the headline attraction of the day, but there’s lots of other subplots and cracking races to enjoy including the reckless idiocy inspirational dedication of Victoria Pendleton in the Foxhunter’s Chase.
I’ll be here (at my desk in Dublin, not actually at Cheltenham) to bring you all the latest updates from Cheltenham. ‘From’ probably isn’t the right word to use on that occasion. ‘On’ Cheltenham? ‘About’ Cheltenham? This blog will be about Cheltenham – that’s all you need to know. I’ll be keeping tack of wanky slow motion montages, hell of a horse count and Victoria Pendleton hogging the limelight. Feel free to join the LOLS via the comments section or via Twitter where I’m @MinistryOfGlove.
