The three time All Ireland winner and Meath legend flicks through Saturday's action

I got my treble last week spot on thanks to the Dubs so I’m back again this weekend with two pieces. Firstly, the qualifier action on Saturday means that I’ve got a 7/1 treble of Leitrim and Laois to beat their respective handicaps and Monaghan to beat Donegal.

Laois vs Armagh – 3pm

Laois have a second chance and they are very lucky to do so. They had the game won against Armagh a couple of weeks back but forgot how to count to six. The extra and illegal seventh sub has gifted Armagh a second bite at the cherry but it could get very messy on the sideline again.

I expect Laois to repeat their performance and win . Armagh were shocking in the league, they were shocking in the Ulster Championship and they didn’t get much better in O’Moore Park the last time. Laois beat them by three that time, the handicap is set at two this time round and I think Laois can beat that at odds of

Sligo vs Leitrim – 6pm

These two were both beaten by Roscommon in the Championship and they haven’t met each other competitively in the summer since 2011. Sligo have always been a side that can blow hot or cold. You’ll either get a clinical and good performance or they’ll collapse and lose. That’s a dangerous situation to be in against Leitrim, who are always the underdogs.

Once again I’m looking to the handicap betting. The five point margin, I think favours Leitrim. Leitrim beat Waterford and they are up and running and have a win under their belts. I’d fancy them to be within the five points at odds of

Donegal vs Monaghan – 7pm

I love a good replay in Ulster, so the fact we’ve two this weekend is fantastic. I sided with the Farney Army the last time and I’m still sticking with them but I think it could be very close again.

It was a better game than I anticipated in the first game. If Monaghan can manage to stop Donegal from getting goals then they’ll win this game. If I had to bet, I’d go for a Monaghan win with perhaps Odhran Mac Niallis or Paddy McBrearty to get the first goal. But my advice for this one is to sit back and watch and enjoy it.
