Australia brought a quality day of rugby to an end yesterday evening as they pipped France 25-23 at Stade de France.
The game was lit up in the 58th minute when Wallabies centre Tevita Kuridrani produced a moment that almost defied gravity itself to touch the ball down in the corner.
Aussie coach Michael Cheika described the score as “unbelievable” and joked it was as good as anything you’d see in Australia’s NRL.
Les Blues were leading 20-16 at the time as Australia moved the ball right to Kuridrani, who found himself bang on the touchline.
The big centre launched himself into the air in a bid to avoid the challenge of France’s Charles Ollivon and somehow managed to stretch the ball to the ground in mid-dive.
The score not only sealed Australia’s third win in the northern hemisphere in-a-row, but it also helped land the 7/1 treble we told you about on Friday morning. We hope you were on it because it was quite a spectacular way for punters to land the dosh!
