Welcome back wrestling geeks, it’s your favourite time of the week as we look back at the events of WWE’s flagship show Monday Night Raw.

The crowd at last night’s show in the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas we utterly spoiled as they got a massive RAW packed with a title change, an epic backstage interview and a break-up for the ages!

There’s a lot to get to in our review so let’s grapple with its events immediately…

Pre-Valentine’s break-ups are the worst

You knew it was coming, but you never wanted it to end! It’s official Team Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho are no more (we may have been drying our tears all morning).

After agreeing on KO’s behalf that Owens will defend the WWE Universal title against Goldberg at Fastlane, Chris Jericho tried to make it up to the champ by hosting the first ever ‘Festival of Friendship.

Through some questionable artwork and even a magician – who of course ended up on the List – Y2J trying manfully to apologise.

Jericho even went as far as promising to help Owens retain his title at the pay-per-view, telling Owens he loved his buddy.

All seemed well as our former favourite duo hugged it out and Owens handed Y2J a present of a new list. However, it turned out that the list actually bellowed to KO and the only name on it was Chris Jericho…

Bayley dethrones the Queen

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but for Bayley it will be the arena she will talk about for the rest of her life as she won her first Women’s Championship on Raw – in the main event no less.

Often known as WWE’s ultimate girl next door, Bayley had been told over and over again by the Raw Women’s title holder Charlotte Flair that she was nothing better than a fan.

However, to be the woman you’ve got to beat the woman and Bayley did just that last night.

After some shenanigans on the outside by Dana Brooke, Sasha Banks would get involved and take out both Brooke and Charlotte with a crutch. This left an opening for the Bayley-to-belly and that helped the master of Hug Life collect her first ever championship victory.

The Destroyer is here to stay

It’s hard to doubt the incredible impact (no pun intended) that Samoa Joe has made since debuting on Raw a couple of weeks ago.

Seth Rollins has been taken out of Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns was beaten and this week the entire Raw roster is now on notice.

That’s because Joe sat down and did a wide ranging interview with Michael Cole which is a must watch if you are a wrestling nut by the way.

We won’t spoil the Samoan Submission Machine’s words for you, but you can see them for yourself below. Be afraid of The Destroyer WWE Universe, be very afraid…
