Southern Rail, The Post Office, British Airways – Britain is giving the bl**dy French a run for their money when it comes to striking.
With just over a week until Christmas, Britain has been brought to a standstill by strike action – causing chaos for people up and down the country.
But there’s no strikes for the hardy folk here in Power Tower – and amid reports that British Airways workers have voted in favour of strike action, our traders are speculating on which group will be next to join the picket line.
After a year of uncertainty for the NHS, it’s no surprise to see Doctors at the top of the betting at 6/5.
But according to the betting there’s no such risk of strikes for those hard-working, underpaid footballers, our traders making them 100/1 outsiders to hang up the boots – although that doesn’t include Sunderland players.
Paddy is even offering 100/1 for Politicians to walk out before Christmas Day – the same price as Santa’s Elves. Hmm…
7/2 Bus Drivers
100/1 Santa’s Elves

“Glorious post-Brexit Britain is doing its best to give those French strikers a run for their money, and with Brits up and down the country experiencing misery we may as well try and make a few quid off the next group to join to the picket line.”
