The Ed Balls to win Strictly Come Dancing bandwagon is careering wildly out of control – as the former MP has developed from novelty act to legitimate dark horse.
He may have lost his seat in last year’s General Election, but Balls seems to have rediscovered a way for the British public to want to vote for him again.
So much so, we’ve have slashed his odds in HALF – cutting him from 66/1 to 33/1 to win the show.

That still puts him behind favourites Danny Mac (11/10), Louise Redknapp (5/2), and Ore Oduba (5/1), but the former MP continues to see his odds tumble.
Asked about the shift in the odds for Balls spokesman Paddy Power said: “Let’s be honest, we all thought Ed was going to Balls it up, being on Strictly.
“But it looks like Ed Balls Day could become an official thing – the Strictly Come Dancing final, if his recent popularity is anything to go by.
“He is very much Strictly’s version of Honey G. The odds for both to win their respective talent shows is 339/1 – which would probably be the most 2016 thing to happen yet this year.”
