Following Theresa May’s surprise decision to call a General Election, Paddy Power has released the latest odds on the proposed June 8th vote.

Mrs May rocked the UK’s political landscape this morning by telling the UK a fresh General Election was needed in less than two months’ time in order to prepare properly for the Britain’s upcoming exit from the European Union.

“Division in Westminster will risk our ability to make a success of Brexit,” said May.

“I have concluded the only way to guarantee certainty and security for the years ahead is to hold this election.”

The Labour party have since welcomed the news of a possible election, which has to be ratified by a vote in the House of Commons with a two-thirds majority.

With the General Election all but confirmed for less than two month time, we make the Conservative Party huge 1/7 favourites to come out with a majority after Britain goes to the polls.

Meanwhile, it seems Jeremy Corbyn Labour Party have a lot to do if they are going to convince the UK public to switch back to the red side, they are as far out as 14/1 to secure a majority and 7/1 to win the most seats.
